Every year there is a strange rumor that tends to revolve around Lebron and why he can’t get it together when it’s time to take home the ring and this year is no different.
Last year, it was his mom allegedly sleeping with his teammate Delonte West and most recently a rumor has circulated the internet claiming that his girlfriend Savannah slept with Wizards forward Rashard Lewis. How Random?!?It’s hard to tell where the rumor started because almost all of the Radio One sites have it posted as an exclusive, but a source was quoted as saying:
“I have a very reliable source who clubs and drinks with all of the athletes that come through Orlando. He was all over the Tiger Woods issue and knew what all happened with Tiger prior to it being released publicly.
“My buddy has a place in Orlando, Lake Nona to be exact, and he lives among some athletes that live there in Orlando. Needless to say he golfs, drinks, and parties with some of the best people in central Florida. So when word got to him while at the bar last night, he called me. Word got out while drinking with friends, that Rashard Lewis slept with Lebrons girl while visiting South Beach.”
Let me guess, the Source was a Mav’s fan?
The rumors may have served it’s purpose as The Heat lost again last night, dropping to 3-2 in the Finals.
Meanwhile, Rashard called into The Box Houston yesterday to speak with Que West regarding the accusations. He tells Que that the rumors are “100% false,” he has never come in contact with Savannah, and the rumors were probably started to mess with Lebron’s head.
“I have no idea [where the rumor came from], that’s what I’m trying to figure out. I went with my regular day of working out and I come home and I hear the same rumor. I can most definitely tell you that those rumors are 100% definitely false, they’re not true and I don’t know how it came up.”
” If anything they need to let the man play, he’s trying to win a championship. Putting all this negative stuff out about him ain’t doing anything but messing with his head. They need to leave the man alone, let him play. He’s in the NBA finals, let him go out there and win a NBA Championship. This is crazy, I can’t even believe this.”
“I’ve never met [Savannah] before. I actually spoke to his step father, the father that raised him to send a message to him that it’s a 100% false as well as he said on their side of the camp, they know it’s not true. They don’t believe it and told me not to worry about it all. I told him to go out there and play the game.[...]The NBA, we’re like a small sorority, we’re like brothers you don’t do that to a brother. That’s something you don’t do. I would never cross that line.”
