Laurieanna Gibson Almost Gives Up Lady Gaga Video

Dance Choreographer Laurieann Gibson did not want to press her luck with the religious imagery tackled in Lady GaGa’s upcoming video for her second single, “Judas.”

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the creative director and choreographer for the pop star says the two initially had a bit of a rift over the direction of the new video.
Laurieann explained: "It went through several changes and late-night debates because at one point, there were two completely different views and I was like, 'Listen, I don't want lightning to strike me! I believe in the gospel and I'm not going there.'"  The video has already come under fire from groups like the Catholic League.
Laurieann says she is pleased with the final product, but had her collaborator pushed the envelope too much, she was prepared to walk.
She added: “I do believe God inspired and worked on everyone's heart, but yes, I would have been like, 'Goodbye, I ain't doing it. No way.' But the place it came to is really magical. And she's dancing her face off."
