Lil Kim Speaks Out About The Government And Hip-Hop

Yesterday marked the 14th anniversary of Christopher ‘Notorious B.I.G.’ Wallace’s death, a murder that remains unsolved to this day. There are a number of conspiracies that surround the cause of the rapper’s demise.
From Death Row’s Suge Knight orchestrating the hit, to corrupt police officers in the Los Angeles Police Department, to east coast/west coast gang activity; but to this day no one is one hundred percent sure why Biggie was gunned down that fateful night in Los Angeles.

Lil Kim recently called in to Lady T of Talk of the Town 411 regarding her theory about Biggie’s murder. She claims that she believes it goes beyond Suge Knight and the police department; that it was something orchestrated by the government.
“I will say this though, I will say that I always felt like Biggie and Tupac’s deaths were bigger than how they tried to make it out to believe it to be[...]It’s bigger than Suge Knight being involved. I think it was even over his head. Them two [Biggie and Tupac Shakur] were very powerful guys. They both could have ran for mayor just like Arnold Schwarzenegger and probably won. You know, I think the government was looking at it like, ‘We could not have these two hood dudes with this much power running for mayor and something like that and winning.’ They would have lost control I think. I think it was way deeper than what people would like it to be.”
